Buying My Images

I offer two kinds of products: paper prints, variously mounted, and prints on metal.

I do all my paper prints myself, using a Canon printer that’s photometrically calibrated to my monitor to give you faithful color. The inks I use will probably outlast me if they’re kept from bright direct sunlight; the protective acrylic transparencies I use for the lower-cost frames help quite a lot. I cut custom mats for each print, if you want something other than white just let me know.

I have my prints on aluminum done by a house that’s really good at hand-correcting their output to match what you see on the monitor. The prints have a visibly better contrast range than paper, they are uniquely suited to the extreme brightness range of astrophotos. They’re also extremely durable — you can even gently wash them! The borderless images have a built-in hanger makes them stand out from the wall just a bit. Metal prints are what I have hanging on my own walls.
